Be Consistent with training - It takes 21 days to build a habit and only 3 to break one. To improve in kickboxing quicker you need to ideally be training at least 2x a week either at home or in class. Try to train at the same times and days to build a routine! We are delighted to announce that the England Kickboxing Return To Play action plan has now been approved by Sport England and DCMS! This means that Kickboxing in England can enter a phased return to training per the action plan and under the procedures contained in the links below. Don't forget to complete the FREE training and also register for a QR code, use the template Risk Assessment and follow the guidelines. General Guidance: https://the-bkc.com/covid-19-guidance-on-returning-to.../ England Kickboxing Action Plan https://the-bkc.com/.../2021/04/England-Kickboxing-RTP.pdf Under the Combat Sports Framework this means that from Monday 12th April all kickboxing clubs independent of organisation or affiliation will be able to operate as follows: OUTDOORS- Organised Groups (Unlimited) Under 18's will be at phase 2 (contact) and adults will be at phase 1 (equipment use). INDOORS (Under 18's) - Phase 2 (Contact) Under 18's - Organised Groups (Capacity Restrictions Apply) INDOORS (Adults) - Phase 1 (Equipment Use). Individual training only. Coaches may work on a 1-1 basis with clients as coaches and PT's do not count towards the restrictions on social gatherings. Note that for indoor pad work between coaches and clients, the use of PPE is strongly recommended. See RTP document for a detailed example of PPE Pad Work.
